At Mayoral, we're moving toward lower-impact production by progressively incorporating certified materials and processes into our collections, including:
- Organic cotton: A fiber with origin certification, grown without synthetic fertilizers or chemical pesticides.
- Better Cotton: We're part of the Better Cotton initiative to improve cotton production worldwide, and we're certified under its Chain of Custody (CoC) standard.
- Recycled fibers: Materials made from textile waste (cotton, polyester and polyamide) and PET waste, whose manufacturing process generates fewer CO₂ emissions and lower water and energy consumption compared to equivalent virgin fibers.
- Cellulosic and animal-origin fibers: We incorporate viscose fibers and lyocell from the LENZING™ ECOVERO™ and TENCEL™ brands, recognized with the EU Ecolabel , as well as leather from audited tanneries.
We design our collections under standardized durability parameters for everyday use and washing, ensuring textile quality and safety. We also directly oversee our supply chain in line with environmental and social standards. .
